Week 91

This is Justyn, the retired American Special Forces from Texas! he is 45 now and is working in the private sector of the military and is going back to Afghanistan in a couple weeks, so we took a picture with him. he was a pretty cool guy so were sad that he´s leaving!
In our ward, the are 2 elders (us) and 2 sisters. The picture is of Patricia, the sisters were teaching her, and she randomly wanted me to baptize her so that was awesome! Her baptism was yesterday
also, this Sunday we had 5 investigators of us and 4 investigadors from the sisters in church, so it was a great Sunday!
Anyways, thanks for everything, until next week

Week 90

We had a baptism this week and transfers so it was pretty crazy!
First of all, in transfers i stayed in this sector and my new companion is jacob Komenda. He has a full ride to play volleyball at byu and is 6 feet 8 inches. he`s pretty awesome.
For transfers, we were in charge of all the flights and all the new missionary´s, so we spent the last 2 or 3 days doing only that. The cool thing is that one of my old companions, elder vega, was finishing the mission and i was able to spend the day with him!
The baptism was great! everything went smoothly, we were able to sfeel the spirit strongly, and we did a music number with piano and violin. also, one of our other investigadors came to the baptism unexpectedly so that was cool!
Today, we played volleyball and ate dominoes pizza. sweet.
Anwyays, thanks for everything guys! see you soon

Week 87, 88, and 89

Sorry for not writing for so long! The good thing is that when I get home soon I will be able to update you guys in person about the things that are happening.

This week that`s coming up, we will have the baptism of Cecilia! it will be great. We`ve been working with her for the past month or so. She is 50 years old and she has 2 kids, 25 and 27 years old. The kids aren`t getting baptized, but i think they will afterwards. She is awesome and she loves learning about the gospel, she said her life has changed a ton since she has been learning.

we`ve been teaching a lot of other people too. The American special forces dude, Justyn, hasn`t been to church yet, but he still has a lot of good questions. He`s not progressing too much, but he has a lot of friends here so we are trying to teach his friends.

I've been playing piano more. I played all the hymns in sacrament like usual this Sunday, and we played a special number with piano and violin of ¨I Know  That My Redeemer Lives.¨
as for pictures, we`ve been kind of lazy so we`ll have to take a lot more this upcoming week.
Thanks for everything!
