I gave a talk this week and one quote i really liked from Thomas S monson´s last general conference talk is ¨each one of us holds the capacity to increase the sum total of happiness in the world, you might forget one act of service you do tomorrow, but the reciever might treasure it forever.¨ That`s why i like the mission so much, because we always have opportunites to help people and give service!

Week 41
This week we had an awesome ward activity, It was a ¨Master Chef of Calbuco¨ and it turned out really fun! My companion and i were going to bring Peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches, but when we went to the store to buy peanut butter, there wasn`t any... It was really unlucky because at that point we didn`t have time to make anything else for the activity. So, we brought chips and drinks (We didn`t win) Anyways, everyone went around trying other peoples dishes, and at the end everyone voted anonimously for the winners. Great activity, pictures to come next week!

Week 39 & 40
Hey didn`t have time last week to write a mass email sorry!
These past 2 weeks have been awesome. We have found lots of new people as a result from the ¨zone blitz¨here in Calbuco. One of the people we found, named soledad, actually speaks english perfectly! We`ve been teaching her, and it`s the wierdest thing to teach in english. everything is different haha and my companion and i kept switching between english and spanish.
For p-days, we`ve been super tired so we haven`t done much, but today i made some macaroni and cheese, which was super good!
Only 2 more weeks until we have general conference! It`s basically treated like the superbowl here in the mission, because all we get to do for 2 days is listen to the prophets and apostles speak. It`s gonna be awesome. I can`t believe it`s my 2nd general conference already! Only 2 more in the mission!
Tengan una buena semana

Week 38
Hey all this week was pretty crazy and great!
First of all, we had something called a zone blitz here in calbuco, where all the missionaries from our zone came here and did stuff for a day. It was pretty awesome because we got like 25 references from it! Hopefully we`ll be able to find new people to teach with those references we got.
One less active member that we found, who has been inactive for 17 years or something like that, went to church this sunday with her son and daughter! The kids had never been to the church before, but when it was time to leave, the 7 year old son didn`t want to leave! We`re going to keep visiting her and hopefully we`ll be able to talk to her husband, who`s not a member.
Other than that stuff, we have been doing a lot of knocking doors and contacts and visiting other less active members so that`s what we`re up to down here in calbuco.
Until next week!

Week 37
Sorry i haven`t had much time to email and that i missed last week! But that always happens when i send pictures because they take forever to send!
This week we found a lot of new people and have found a lot of new less active members to reactivate. We don`t seem to have any luck finding investigators but we are working a ton with all the less actives here. They`re really receptive and willing to come back to church once we go visit them a couple of times, so that`s pretty cool.
One guy, Juan Parancan, has been inactive for about 2 years because he has to work on sundays, but when we went to visit him, he said his contract is just ending and that he`s going to ask his boss for sundays off of work so he can go to church again. He is a member who was the first counselor here in the branch, he`s been to the temple a lot, and he`s a super good member. We`ve been looking for members like him here in the branch to help out, so he`s an answer to everyone`s prayers here.
We had changes, but my companion and i both stay here for at least another 6 weeks so we`re happy about that! I miss having tons of investigators, like in valdivia, but that`s not our only purpose here in the mission so i`m happy and satisfied here in Calbuco. We`ll find more people soon!
Also, my brother Justyn just got home from his mission for those who don`t already know! He served in Ecuador and is going to go to BYU Provo in a bit.
See you next week! I`ll try and get some more pictures for next week!
